Michael Whitton was born in Reno, NV, and lives in Los Angeles, CA, where he creates his music in a fervor driven by all things he does not want to be: a motif inspired by the line—which he crafted into a successful stage play while involved in an award-winning theatre company—that “if you’re coming in dead fame and fortune will kill you.”  These words, as well as many others that Michael has penned into various slice-of-life beats and exposition—from his screenplay AT GUNPOINT to the poetic photo chronicles in his published travel books—inspired an outpution of inventive madness that accents his life and work today; and it’s with this inner creative fury and unique, original artistry that Mr. Whitton strives to make the world a less demanding, more memorable place—one song, photo, and word at a time.
